A: I would say 2007 honda S2000 is faster than a 2006 honda 2006. 2007 Honda S2000 is better.
Q: What kind of material is the convertible top on a 2006 honda S2000? Is it vinyl or fabric?

A: Well, I have a 2007 350Z with 306HP, and I can take them from a dead stop and a rolling start easily. The 2006 350Z's had 300HP, so it shouldn't be a problem, nor make much more of a difference.

The nissan 350z is a real fast car.same as the honda s2000.but the with the 4runner you can put a kick butt sound system in it..and stuff..and has a lot of room for friends and stuf..but with the 350z and s2000 you will be tha show of the road in it..and pull chicks like crazy..so guys and girls tell me whitch car you would rather have....
A: 4 Runners rock! I love them!
Q: What's up with the Honda S2000?
I've been checking out the reviews for convertible sports cars. The S2000, 350z, z4, Miata, Corvette, Boxter, and so forth.
It seems to me that the S2000 is the best choice when you consider handling, mpg, build quality, and performance for the buck.
But Honda only sold around 5500 units in 2006 and I rarely see any on the road.
How come the S2000 isn't outselling it's competitor's??
A: You are right the honda s2000 is a great car. Have you looked up it's sticker price lately though. It's no bargain that is for sure. But some don't like it because of image, some people might say it's a honda, how sporty can it be? Or the fact that it is only a 4 cylinder might throw a few people off. But 240hp out of 2L or 2.2L for the current generation that is 120hp per liter. Better then ferrari's, bmw. The highest output 4 cylinder NA engine. Sign me up. It is just expensive, for that kind of money i'll go with an evo. It is like the NSX, those who know it can truely appreciate it and understand it's dominace over all those in it's class. Some people just have the concept that honda just makes good gas effiecient cars. They do but they also make some cars with some damn good potential and some cars like the nsx, s2000, itr, ctr, are detuned race cars. Too many people look at straight line numbers and the only honda that made impressive straight line numbers was the NSX.
The s2000 is how a small convertable should be made. Light, mild power, good dynamics, it is a very well rounded car.
Also the corvette, boxter, and the Z really don't fall in the same class.
Q: Which car would you take?
I am going to buy a new car in the fall (early october), which would you take? 2006 Honda S2000 (white with black leather interior, with the hard top) or 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution MR (Black with all the goodies: HKS exhaust, turbo timer, fuel rail, Greddy Ultimate E-Manage, AEM cold air, the whole nine?) I choose the S2000, more reliable and more of a roadster that handles well and is high revs, but something about forced induction, always keeps me interested. Which car and why? Be descriptive, thanks guys!!
A: Get the Honda. My son has studied cars his entire life and drives a Honda. They are reliable, get good gas mileage, quiet, comfortable to ride in, roomy for their size. Congratulations on your new purchase.
Q: I need your help on this one!?
I’m trying to buy a car but I’m not sure with which one of the following options should I’ll go for, 2006 Nissan 350Z, 2006 Honda S2000, 2006 Eclipse Mitsubishi, 2006 Scion TC, 2006 Scion XB can you give me any subjections. or specs
A: well the 350z still has problems with alignment issues which are costly and are not covered by warranty. new eclipse looks like a catfish,Honda s2000 would be an exellent choice.....

How come the S2000 isn't outselling it's competitor's??
A: It's in a crowded market. Its fuel economy isn't spectacular. It's significantly more expensive than some of the more popular options. It isn't as powerful or torquey as some of the slightly more expensive options (350Z). It's a HONDA and not a BMW or PORSCHE, so it isn't going to compete there. And the Corvette outperforms it and just about anything else in its price range, in every regard (even fuel economy) by a large margin, so if you're shopping that high, why would you buy the s2000?
Basically, it's got a really small niche in the middle of the roadster market.

A: my answer is the competition is very top thats why is hard to make many.

A: Love the haters, by the way.
The Honda S2000 does not sell more because it is an Icon for the company.
What that means, in a nutshell, is that Honda essentially hand builds these cars, and then sells them for an extremely low profit. These cars are better than the Z4 convertibles, but sell for a lot less. They are more than the Miata or the Solstice, but they are miles better than either one.
Honda simply does not have the capacity to sell more than that. If you ever notice, Honda never advertises the S2000. You may see one in a Honda add as part of the group, but it is never advertised by itself.
In order to sell more, Honda would have to automate more of the assembly line, which would reduce some of the quality features of the car. If they could automate and maintain quality, they would have to consistently sell 100 times more than they do, or they would have to stop production.
The bottom line is that to sell volumes of two seat convertibles, you have to make them very cheap and low powered, like the Miata, or make them very expensive to make up for sales fluctuations, like the Z4.
Q: Need help choosing a car!?
The amount I can spend is about 21k at the most. Since I about to be 18 and about to grad, I thought of getting my self a nice car for college. Here some of the car I thought of getting...
2003-350z mileage: 54,000 Cost: $17,700
2003- Lexus Is300 Mileage: 69,000 Cost: $16,900
2006-7 Civic Si Mileage: under 30k Cost: 18-21k
As you can see, all car I wanted is stick drive. con of these are: 350z is a two seater, Is300 got high mileage, Civic Si is FWD. The car I really want the most is a G35 cause it a 4 seater, RWD, and it just plain SEXY but cant find one that stick drive and cheap. Only other honda car I like is S2000 but like the 350z, it a two seater.
Which car should I choose? I know there other car out there but I just can't think of any, Please help! As long as it stick drive, it sexy and not FWD! (No BMW, heard maint on it is crazy!!)
A: The IS300. Mileage is nothing these days. I bought a car with 113,000 miles on it and 3 years later I have 172,000 miles on it. It still drives like a new car. I replaced a few maintenance items, but saving thousands on the purchase price was worth it. Mileage only matters when a car has been neglected. If you do the maintenance it will last 250,000 miles or 10 years without major problems.
