Once you find out what code it's giving you, then you can take the necessary steps to get your car repaired. There are only about 300 reasons the check engine light could come on, so get it checked as soon as you can. It may turn out to be something very minor.

A: I was looking into one. Got my mustang gt though. The timing's set to run premium. You can tool around with the timing and spark and be able to run lesser. I have my gt tuned, so I have to run 93 premium. My tune is set for 92 octane, a little safety net. Vtec isn't anything special. Those honda guys trying to fool somebody. hah.

The difference is that honda doesn't try to market their vehicles based on their audio systems like their competitors and they don't have to. You wouldn't know it until you actually read the back of the head unit once it's been removed. However, they do advertise Bose on many of their Acuras and a few Hondas so they are just as guilty at times- just not as often as the others.

A: Stay away from that Mazda. They have those rotary engines that wear out practically before you even change the oil. I'd say the Subaru is your best bet.
