Q: Make 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL faster?
I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL, and I am looking for ways to make it go faster. I have heard some people say to change the exhaust. If I must do this, I do not want my truck to sound like a weed whacker. I am looking to get high end products. Any specific product details and where to get them are much appreciated.

A: http://www.comptechusa.com/store/new.html Comptech has been developing a supercharger for the ridgeline. It should be done very soon. I would email them or call them since they are always slow to update the web page. They are also developing an intake and exhaust and a few other things. I have bought their products before, i must say they are pricey but they are engineered and tested well. They are smog legal also. You can check out ridgelineownersclub.com for more information

Q: Emergency brake on a 2007 Honda Ridgeline?
Is there even an emergency brake for the Ridgeline? I can't find it.

A: It is the little third pedal far to the left and be sure to use it cuz my cuzin didn't and she had to replace the parking pole on her transmission. And its a parking brake not an emergency brake http://www.clearchoicemotors.com/car_images/1211.jpg

Q: XM radio for 2007 Honda Ridgeline?
Hey my dad has a 2007 Ridgeline and on the factory radio it says XM radio ready. For Christmas i want to get him this XM radio active since they merged with Sirius. Anyways i was wondering what i need to buy/hook up to get this XM active? I dont think it has the antenna on top of the truck like i have seen some of the other models. Is this something i need to buy? Thanks!

A: Beings it came ready from the factory with XM radio, you might try visiting your local dealership. They should be able to point you in the right direction. If that doesn't work, most ALL car audio stores offer satelite radio components. Another option would be Crutchfield.com. The one difference there is that YOU will be the installer. They will provide you with (probably) all the necessary documentation needed to install it correctly. But, if that is something you are not comfortable with, you might want to consider a professional installer do the work. Once all the components are installed, you call XM and follow the instructions to set up an account. That is where the professional installer may come in handy! They will know what information to give out. Good luck Jason

Q: Has anyone heard or seen any information regarding the 2007 Honda Ridgeline?

A: It's won a lot of awards and gets rave reviews. If you can get past the ugly styling, it has everything except super duty towing capacity. But it has plenty for most applications.

Q: will they total my 2007 honda ridgeline truck ???
the cost to fix it w/o fixing the engine is $13,700 they have to get permission to check the engine the insurance my insurance is the hartford

A: The adjuster will look and make that determination, and let you know. If it costs more to fix that fair market value, they will total it.

Q: The Honda Ridgeline...good or bad?
I'm looking to trade in my 2003 Honda Civic LX coupe for the 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Does anyone own a Ridgeline, or know anyone that does -- provide me with any opinions you might have in regards to the truck? Is it a good investment, have you or anyone had any problems with the truck? I love the body style and what it has to offer. My Honda Civic has never posed any problems engine-wise, or whatnot. I've never had any issues with it **knocks on wood**. Basically trying to find out if it's a good truck? I've already test driven it, and looked into the trade in value of my civic. I'd just like some consumer reviews of other Ridgeline owners? I have two dogs, and will be getting a horse someday. My bf is getting a truck with towing capabilities, but the dealer said it's able to tow a horse trailer and hay. =) I live an active lifestyle. I love roadtrips. Is it a gas guzzler just like any truck or because it's a Honda is the gas mileage reasonable?

A: I drive a Ridgeline and have been pleased with it since the day we got it. The interior is roomy and the handling is superb, particularly compared to what some would call a "real truck". We have used the truck in all types of weather and it handles great in the snow. As far as gas mileage goes the vehicle is about average for a truck at about 18-22 mpg. The engine is the same as used in the Pilot and Odyssey and like all Hondas, it holds up very well and has a good reputation for durability. You'll also love the dual tailgate as it is nice to be able to swing it out of the way when accessing the bed (used it repeatedly this summer to haul loads of bricks). And, don't forget that there is the in-bed trunk which is also very useful. The truck won't haul a HUGE boat or a 5th wheel trailer but realistically, how frequently do most "real truck" owners use this power for? The Ridge has more than adequate abilities for most truck owners on the road today. Oh, and we take ours on roadtrips all the time.

Q: How to enable the Trip Computer on my 2007 Honda Civic EX Navigation - Propbably would require a hack? Thanks!
From what I hear, the trip computer is included in the navigation, but it is just disabled by Honda. Some people were able to hack the Honda Ridgeline & Acura TL to enable the Trip Computer so It's got to be possible. Any pointers or knowledge would be fantastic. Thanks Everyone!!!

A: If you want to keep your warranty and if the features are not in the owner's manual, then leave it alone. The same navigation system cannot be used among the entire Honda family.

Q: 2007 Honda Rideline, a good idea?
I'm considering trading in my 2003 Honda Civic LX coupe for the 2007 Honda Ridgeline. I think it'll be a better vehicle for traveling and for moving and recreation. Is it a good idea? Any Ridgeline owners, what do you like about the Ridgeline? Or friends of Ridgeline owners, what do you think?

A: yes it is a looking good car but it gets bad gas milage it use a lot of oil beaks are bad i had one and got BMW

Q: Honda Ridgeline headlights?
I have a 2007 Honda Rigeline RTL w/nav. I am using the Honda supplies bulbs. Are there brighter headlights I can use that are still street legal? I also have the accessory fog lamps. Can those be any brighter? I live in New Jersey if that matters legally. Thanks for any info!!

A: Yeah go on eBay and find HID lights 8000

Q: Is it possible to use the DVD drive in the navigation unit in the 2007 Ridgeline RTL w/ Nav for dvd playback?
I would like to use the in-dash screen that the GPS/Navigation uses without adding another display of any kind. I would also like to know if I can use the exisiting DVD drive that currently the Honda provided maps stored on. I have tried a normal DVD and just received and error message on the in-dash screen.

A: i'm sorry, you're out of luck. those are designed for data DVD's instead of video DVD's. there are currently no fixes for this at this point. i apologize for the inconvenience though.

Q: which truck is best? Tundra, Ridgeline, Titan or Silverado?
Narrowed it down to these four.... 2007 Toyota Tundra 2007 Honda Ridgeline 2007 Nissan Titan 2007 Chevy Silverado Anyone have one and can tell me pro/con?

A: When I was in the market for full size-trucks, HANDS DOWN the best truck on the market was the GMC Sierra. Since Chevy and GMC come from the same assembly line (based on your list) I would consider the Silverado. BUT, I had a Toyota pickup( my first truck) which lasted me 10years and over 239,000 miles. Toyota quality and longevity is king...but you'll pay for it. If you want a sturdy work truck for hauling and no-nonsense bull**** I would consider a Silverado. If you are planning on keeping the truck untill the end of time...you may want to consider the Tundra. It really will come down to personal preference. The Dodge Ram is a sweet truck, but I started having problems with mine after 20,000 miles. I've never been a fan of Nissan vehicles, and both Honda and Nissan are newbies to the full size truck class.

Q: NISSIAN or TOYOTA or HONDA??????
I'm looking for a larger mini-van or suv for my family. I need to know if anyone own or know about my choices which may help me to decide which to purchase very soon. All three are Used Certified - 2007 Nissian PATHFINDER - 2007 Toyota SIENNA - 2007 Honda RIDGELINE Any comments (good or bad) THANK YOU!!!

A: 2007 Toyota SIENNA # AAA's Top Family Vehicles # Popular Minivans on MSN # Most Satisfactory Pros: VERY comfortable. I had a Pontiac Montana for ten years - the BEST in its day but the newer Montanas didn't measure up comfort or quality wise. I test drove a Honda van...can't believe reviewers who thought they were more comfortable. My seats are leather and so soft...I have driven and even been a middle seat passenger for 300 mile stretches...never got uncomfortable. Like electric side doors and the driver controls for them. So many places to store "stuff" and enough drink holders for 2 per passenger - seriously there are 14 drink holders in my 7 passenger vehicle! Nice design...doesn't look like a "granny" vehicle! Cons: Wish it had electric lift gate. I bought mine off a dealer lot with low mileage and a great deal so didn't order options. Had some problems with the tire gauge. When the weather gets cold, light always comes on...had it checked and discovered that it was the spare tire. Temperatures obviously cause the sensor to go off...once the van is warmed up the light goes off. I miss the huge gas tank on my Montana. Of course it cost a fortune to fill up, but the stops at the pump were rare. I think the mileage was better with the Pontiac when it was new. Overall Review: Overall, it is wonderful. I'm sure I'll have some issues as the van wears. It handles wonderfully, doesn't wear the driver out on long stretches and gives lots of leg room for us tall people. I love being able to get the grandkids in and separate them...plus entertain them. As I age and have arthritic joints I love having a vehicle you can basically just turn around and sit down in - no climbing up into it as with an SUV or having to crawl out as in most modern low slung cars. Haven't been thrilled with in-town mileage...road mileage has been great. Floor mats were junk. Due to living in the country and lots of wet weather conditions I ordered all weather rubber mats from the dealer. They fit wonderfully and cut down on the mud dragged onto the floor mats. Anyone with a family needs to consider a mini-van - so much space makes traveling enjoyable...I'd recommend the Sienna. Toyota's record on good service was one of the deal makers for this purchase.(copied from By: Debi from Ala) Pathfinder only rates average on reliability. Ridgeline not enough room for a family, rumors about strut blowouts. http://autos.msn.com/research/userreviews/reviewlist.aspx?modelid=12393

Q: Can the bank higher my car payment?
We purchased a 2007 Honda Ridgeline last year. We got into a little financial trouble and couldn't pay the insurance and car payment for 2 months but finally got back on track this September. The payment is $499.68 for 7 years. Recently we got a bill saying we need to pay $638.00 a month now because of the lapse of insurance coverage for the remainder of the loan. This is ridiculous because at almost $200.00 a month more will be $2400 a year for 2 months of no insurance. Is this legal?

A: Yes it is perfectly legal. All new vehicle loans come with an agreement that says you must carry full coverage insurance on the vehicle. If it lapses (which it did on your part) then the lender has the right to provide the insurance coverage and bill you for it. That is all they are doing. If you have reinstated your insurance you should contact the lender and see if they will drop the coverage as long as you can prove that you are now fully insured again.

Q: I am interested in buying a new truck. Any suggestions?
I am looking at a 2007 Honda Ridgeline with Navigation. The price is $35,000+. The money is not an issue, but am I getting a good value for the money?

A: If you just like the idea of owning a truck and you want the ride quality of a car, than it’s a good choice. However; if you NEED a real truck, than keep looking.

Q: why isnt my chrysler 300 worth anything?
my dad bought a 2005 chrysler 300 touring edition.(in the year 2005) it has 20 inch rims on it (chrome!) and chrome on the windows and chrome on the sides! we wanted to trade it in for a 2007 honda ridgeline and they would only give us 18,000 for it! thats like a compact car! why isn't it worth anything! it has a 263 engine and its a luxury car! or is the hemi the edition thats worth the money! and ill tell you that ridleine was nice! what can my dad trade it in for like a pickup instead of a compact car? it has 34,000 miles on it. i think fork is the right answer! my dad said he will try! by the way th chrysler looks someone will by it more than what the ridgeline cost!

A: you would get more money for the 300 if you sold it privately. may take longer, but you'll get more for it.
