A: remove the door panel and the screws holding the door panel. roll down window half way until you see the 2 10mm bolts thru the holes. diconnect all connectors remove the 2 10 mm bolts holding the glass and with your hands push window up all the way and use tape to hold it in place while you remove the regulator and motor,also 10 mm bolts a total of 7 bolts. remove old regulator. Install new regulator in the reverse process . buy it from the dealer as going the cheap route will cause headaches.

A: retorque your main caps. once you remove the caps the remove the crank, you may have off set the main bearings in there seat. retorque the main caps. you will be all right. if you still get a little knock, put one quart of 50 sae oil in the next change.

A: Yes you need an OBDII Scanner to erase them... Stop by your local auto parts store.. most will erase them free of charge.

Driving a 1996 Honda Passport (technically, it's an Isuzu, but with Honda's logo on it). I can hear more clicking in my engine compartment than there should be, and am worried about my valves.

A: Well the Nissan wins by a large margin in both categories. For fun, I'll tell you a little story for illustration purposes: my friend drove a 1997 Nissan Altima on some pretty windy major roads. One winter, conditions were unfavorable and she hit black ice on a turn. The car hit the curb sideways, went airborne, flipped, and landed upside down.
